Wow, what an inspiring passage in Ruth. Loyalty is commended. We could use some in our culture which often walks away from commitments as the flavor of the day.
"Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God."
How do you discipline a child? Proverbs tells us...
"He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him."
Parenting involves boundaries and discipline done without anger but for respect of the child to move away from being spoiled.
