"Building the Bridge As We Go"

This week I became a District Superintendent of 103 churches and more than 100 pastors in churches, extension ministry, and retired. The question has been in my mind..."What difference can I make?" Often I have reflected on the words of great coaches that say in one way or another that teams are not about star players but rather the utilization of all players. This is my hope that the Montgomery/Prattville District can use every church and every pastor to do with 103 churches what one church could never do alone. How do we become a team of everyone doing their part? I really do not know. I trust God will help us build the bridge toward the future as we go.
