Day 160...(Judges 15,16; Proverbs 8; Mark 9)..."A Prayer to Pray When in Doubt"

When is doubt good? When it lead us to greater trust! This is evident with the father asking his child be healed. Did he believe? He sure wanted to. Jesus can help such open people to grow.
I think this passage is critical in our faith journey. When we doubt, we are not saying we do not want to believe. We are seeking to more fully believe. I have said this as a prayer often. The words seem to stretch toward greater belief. What are the words?

"Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

This is a great prayer to pray when in doubt.
